My love

is my family. This is my daughter Bailey . She is 16 and a kid I am really proud of. In this picture we are on a road trip to Las Vegas (she was playing in a softball tournament). Bailey is a quite kid and will take things in before she decides if she wants to be involved. She is active in softball, volleyball and FFA. She has no interest in quilting, she likes them and likes to look at fabric but she does not want to make one.

This is Brittany . She is 13 and full of life of course they both know more than me or my husband at this stage of their life. Brittany is a very active child, she is also involved in softball, volleyball, basketball. Brittany loves fabric as well and if either of them were to ever quilt I think it would be Brittany. She has purchased a charm pack and laid the charms out in the order she would like to sew them, but that is as far as her quilting experience has gone. She has a very good I for fabric and putting fabric combos together. It will be very intersting if she every does give it a try..... and last but not least is my darling husband Justin. I do not even have a recent pic of him I will get on and add.......

Love at first sight

I started my love affair with quilts at a young age at my grandmothers side. Like most kids I did not absorb the knowledge that she was trying to give to me. I have always been drawn to quilts and decided to make my first quilt back in Sept. 08 for my niece Angela that was going to college. I didn't know that the pattern I was starting was over my head so I didn't know to be scared, nor did I know that I should take pictures of my project. I have now grown to many projects that I am currently working on. I hope you enjoy my journey and I look forward to sharing my joys as well as heartaches.
